Top of the Word has been bought and trialled in a number of schools within the north east of England. The game itself is particularly suited to all school ages, it is simple to pick up and play, whilst being more accessible than a number of other word games.

Educationally Top of the Word has a number of benefits. It improves literacy and numeracy skills through word play, spelling and counting whilst navigating your way around the board. The process of trying to find words, aiming for or avoiding a particular length helps to improve cognitive function.
